VALERIE
Some people enjoy having their pictures taken, and love their images. Many others, are instantly out of their comfort zone when they see anyone pick up a camera. From the first moment I reached out to this studio (recommended by a friend), they treated me like I was their only customer. My need for a headshot, was a priority for them ... when I knew full well, they were very busy with their other responsibilities.
The afternoon of my appointment, Brianna worked her magic with my makeup ... what a kind hearted professional that equally treated me as though I was the only customer she'd had all month.
Sue enjoyed her camera so much ... a true artist ... not rushed at all (except maybe when her excitement for a great idea for a shot took over!) ... she included me in the process. There was no judgment of my "feeling out of place" ... and soon, I didn't even feel my normal "out of place around a camera". It was as if we were a group of ladies spending a fun afternoon together ... and in reality, that's what it was. My daughter accompanied me to this appointment, and fit right in with us. The conversations were robust and meaningful.
The headshots? The portraits? Amazing. Different poses and angles to pick from ... made prioritizing them, difficult. I'm more used to "hoping there is at least one I can use even though I hate it" ... and instead, I got so many beautiful proofs, that it was hard to decide. When I looked at the proofs, so many of them made my heart and soul feel like me ... they looked like my mind's eye always believes I look like.
There are no specific words that fully describe how pleased I am with this group of professionals and their quality of work. They are beyond anything I ever could have hoped for ... I will be forever grateful.
